Ocasio-Cortez says she's cutting back on social media for her health

Ocasio-Cortez says she's cutting back on social media for her health”

Ocasio-Cortez said in a tweet after the email was publicized that such a message "puts me in danger every time".

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, whose mastery of social media has helped drive the national conversation and shed light on the inner workings of congressional power, has given up on the most popular social network in the world.

Right-wing media empire Fox News referenced U.S. lawmaker Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) 42 days in a row, according to research, for a total of 3,181 unique mentions, leading many to note an editorial "obsession" by the staunchly conservative news giant with the Democratic firebrand.

Ocasio-Cortez still has an account on Facebook, but she now mostly uses Instagram and Twitter to connect with her fervent followers.

Disney+ Streaming Service Will Come to Consoles Later This Year
Company CEO Bob Iger shared a screenshot of the Disney+ UI on his Twitter site, and it features rows of rectangular icons. According to CNBC , Disney +, the entertainment giant's video streaming service, will launch on November 12th.

Freshman Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) was mentioned 3,181 times on Fox News and Fox Business during the 6 weeks from February 25 to April 7 - 75 times a day - according to the liberal Media Matters for America.

Beyond politics, Fox Business Network's Stuart Varney illustrated another reason that Fox would pay so much attention to Ocasio-Cortez.

"I really don't know", she said.

Fox personalities like Carlson and Jeanine Pirro have called her "a bartender", in reference to a pre-politics job. She said later in March that "I think what's tough is impeachment is something that I openly support, but it's also just the reality of having votes in the Senate to pursue that".

"I think so", Ocasio-Cortez responded.

According to a Time Magazine report, Ocasio-Cortez and her staff received special training from Capitol Police on assessing visitors that may be potential threats. Omar at a speech last month said that "some people did something" as she talked about the creation of the Council on American-Islamic Relations.

"Like every once in a while, you'll see me hop on Twitter on the weekends, but for the most part, I take consumption of content, when it comes to consumption and reading, I take the weekends off", Ocasio-Cortez added.

"Here's the truth. For far too long we have lived with the discomfort of being a second-class citizen and, frankly, I'm exhausted of it, and every single Muslim in this country should be exhausted of it. CAIR was founded after 9/11 because they recognized that some people did something and that all of us were starting to lose access to our civil liberties".
