Linda McMahon is leaving the Small Business Administration”

Linda McMahon, director of the Small Business Administration, is to announce plans to resign on Friday to return to the private sector, an administration official said.

Politico further noted that McMahon is expected to visit the president in Florida this weekend. President Donald Trump is to appear with her this afternoon at Mar-a-Lago where she is expected to announce plans to take a fund-raising role with his reelection campaign. "Linda is going to be a phenomenal leader and champion for small businesses and unleash America's entrepreneurial spirit all across the country".

McMahon and her husband, Vince, founded and built World Wrestling Entertainment Inc., now a publicly traded sports entertainment company. "She has much to be proud of and will be missed", he said.

One killed, three injured in Seattle bus shooting
She said both were conscious but didn't immediately know their condition. "The entire city of Seattle is pulling for them". Harborview Medical Center spokeswoman Susan Gregg said two victims, a man and woman, were brought to the hospital.

McMahon was sworn into her position as Head Of Small Business Administration in 2017, following two unsuccessful bids at running for US Senate.

McMahon's departure comes as Trump is starting to shift into re-election mode and Democratic challengers are becoming more aggressive in fundraising and laying the groundwork for their campaigns.

"Under her stewardship, optimism among America's small business has soared as a result of this administration's pro-growth, pro-worker policies", said Sen. Trump repeatedly praised McMahon for her work as head of the SBA.
