No more MOUs! fumes Donald Trump
But the triumph of Tariff Man would also convince many that bullying rivals and shunning allies will make America great again. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said that the U.S. won't share information with countries using Huawei technology.

"It may have taken six months for them to come to one of our offices, but these winners did just what we tell all our winners to do - they read our Winner's Handbook and then assembled a team of legal and financial advisors to help them make the most of this windfall and prepare them for their new life as Lottery winners", California Lottery Director Hugo Lopez said in a statement to NBC in 2016. You can say that again.

According to lottery officials, the victor has finally stepped forward to claim the largest jackpot payout to a single victor in United States history.

The victor, a South Carolina resident, has chosen to remain anonymous and elected to collect their winnings in a one-time payment of $877,784,124 - the largest jackpot payout to a single victor in United States history, the SC Lottery said in a news release. It is considered the largest payout to a single victor in U.S. history. The store will receive a US$50,000 (NZ$73,322) bonus; the state will get US$61m (NZ$89m) in income taxes from the victor, the lottery organisation said.

SC is one in only a handful of states that allows lottery winners to keep their identities secret.

The winning ticket was sold between October 20 and October 23 of a year ago at a convenience store in Simpsonville, a suburb of the SC city of Greenville.

The victor had until 5 p.m. on April 19 to come forward with the winning ticket. The State of SC will benefit from $61 million that will be collected in income taxes from the victor.

Inside Edition went to Simpsonville, South Carolina, where the ticket was purchased, to ask around about the mysterious victor. Taxpayers in the state may get a US$50 (NZ$73) rebate as a result of the win, the newspaper said.

If the money hadn't been claimed, it would have been divided among all 44 states that take part in the Mega Millions contest, the newspaper said.
