A second person was killed when his auto collided with a vehicle driven by the suspect, according to Seattle Fire Chief Harold Scoggins.

"The suspect shot the female driver, critically injuring her, before walking into the street and firing on a southbound Metro bus", informed the police department. Preliminary information was that none of the 12 passengers on board were injured, the agency said.

Unsuspecting drivers on a Seattle street encountered a hail of gunfire around 4 p.m. Wednesday after a man carrying a handgun began shooting, reports CBS News' DeMarco Morgan. After police arrived, the gunman fled in the victim's vehicle, police said. He has not been identified, but Seattle Deputy Police Chief Marc Garth-Green identified him as being in his 30s.
