Nintendo Will Release Two New Switch Models This Year

Nintendo Will Release Two New Switch Models This Year”

Early October previous year, the Wall Street Journal reported that Nintendo has planned to launch a new Switch in 2019.

Nintendo is reportedly working on two different Switch gaming devices.

Trump signs proclamation recognising Golan Heights as Israeli territory
Trump's decision might be more defensible if it were part of a new and innovative US policy in the region. Israel passed legislation annexing the territory, but the rest of the world has not recognized the law.

Those who are still using Nintendo's 3DS device are the targets for the cheaper, more casual version of the Switch that's supposedly in the works, the sources say. Meanwhile, if you're looking to hop into Nintendo's family but you're short of the bucks and a relative's organs to sell so that you can afford one of the miracle devices, the more budget-friendly alternative is apparently created to cut as many costs as possible.

But now Eurogamer - another reputable and largely trustworthy source - has corroborated the WSJ, basically confirming beat for beat what the initial rumors suggested. The sources also say the new hardware will likely have a summer (our winter) release, so it'll probably be announced at E3 in June and launched a few months after.

Burials to get under way for two victims of Christchurch mosque atrocity
While some New Zealanders have voluntarily surrendered guns, others have been buying more to beat the ban. She defended New Zealand's record on accepting refugees, saying: "We are a welcoming country".

Nintendo Switch was the best selling console previous year but it is coming towards the middle of it's lifespan. The first will be a low-priced variant that omits the next-generation vibration feature built-into the detachable Joy-Con controllers.

It's important to note that Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa said earlier this year that the company is "not considering a [Switch] successor or a price cut at this time".

Dozens of children trapped, at least 10 dead in Lagos school collapse
The former Lagos State Governor urged the state government to ensure adequate medical treatment for the rescued victims. It was not known how many students had been in a primary school located on the building's top floor.

As for the new souped-up Switch, the one for "avid videogamers", yesterday's report mentioned it would not be getting beefed up to the specs of either the PlayStation 4 Pro or Xbox One X - which shouldn't come as much of a surprise. Again. Hey, we all do odd things when we're bored, only Odin can judge me back off man. The fact that WSJ's sources include hardware suppliers and developers (plural, on both counts) is hard to ignore. The Switch is now powered by Nvidia's four-year-old Tegra X1 processor, so there is definitely room for improvement there.
