Dolphins officially give up on QB Ryan Tannehill, trade him to Titans”

The Miami Dolphins have agreed to trade quarterback Ryan Tannehill to the Tennessee Titans, as first reported by SportsTrust Advisors.

The details of the trade, as broken by ESPN's Adam Schefter, involves Tannehill and a 2019 6th-round pick going to Tennessee in return for a 2019 7th-round pick and a 2020 4th-round pick.

Tannehill's new contract is for $7 million for one season and is fully guaranteed.

Trump slams handling of Brexit by UK's May
But Mrs May left no doubt that she opposes a lengthy delay, telling MPs: "I do not think that would be the right outcome". May has given lawmakers in her party a free vote and investors expect parliament will vote against a no-deal Brexit .

A fresh start, though, could work out for Tannehill, who turns 31 on July 27, as he won't have the pressure typically associated with a starting quarterback.

The Titans also received a 2019 sixth-round pick in the swap. He posted a 42-46 record over six seasons, while throwing for 20,434 yards and 123 touchdowns with 75 interceptions.

A source close to the former 49ers quarterback made it known he is interested in joining the Dolphins, according to a CBS Sports report.

Dozens of children trapped, at least 10 dead in Lagos school collapse
The former Lagos State Governor urged the state government to ensure adequate medical treatment for the rescued victims. It was not known how many students had been in a primary school located on the building's top floor.

Tannehill, the eighth pick of the 2012 draft, had some good moments.

But Tannehill never lived up to expectations in Miami.

One way or another, it is very likely that the Dolphins trade of Ryan Tannehill could impact the New York Giants.

FG bans Boeing 737 Max airplanes in Nigeria
Air Canada , along with Southwest and American Airlines , are the major outliers in resisting a grounding of the fleet. The Boeing 737 Max 8 plane is the same as the one involved in the Lion Air crash last October killing 189 persons.

From the Titans' end the move is probably a reaction, in part, to Marcus Mariota's constant healthy issues. He did not play in 2017 due to injury. The belief is Miami might be willing to eschew taking a quarterback in the first round this year in order to set itself up to take one in next year's draft. You could argue that he and Tannehill are incredibly similar - both are athletic, accurate quarterbacks and their playing style feels similar.
