Dems Want Access To Translators Present At Trump-Putin Meetings”

The chairman of the House committee in charge of impeachment has revealed the panel is requesting documents from more than 60 people from Trump's administration, family and business as part of a rapidly expanding Russian Federation investigation. Why should the House investigate Trump for obstruction of justice when Special Counsel Robert Mueller has already been looking into this potential crime for nearly two years?

Nadler's Democratic colleague on the House Judiciary committee, Rep. Eric Swalwell of California, said they would learn a lot more over the next few weeks.

If those reports are true, Trump's actions "undermine the proper functioning of government", the lawmakers said in their letters, which were sent to Acting White House Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. The panel is prepared to use its subpoena power if needed, the lawyer said.

"On February 21, 2019, we wrote a joint letter to the White House requesting basic information about whether the President in fact destroyed records relating to his conversations with President Putin-in violation of the Presidential Records Act-or if he did not, where those records are now located", the letter from the Democrats stated.

Over the weekend, Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) revealed that a request for documents had been submitted to more than 60 entities and individuals in Trump's orbit.

Wednesday's votes also saw lawmakers defeat a Labour proposal for a permanent customs union with the EU. Labour MP Julie Cooper wrote she had "no intention of voting for a second referendum".

Nadler said Monday the investigation will be focused on possible obstruction of justice, corruption and abuse of power.

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy accused House Democrats of prejudging Mr Trump as part of a query based purely on partisan politics.

Cummings, Schiff and Engel's requests follow up on a joint letter the chairmen sent to the White House last month, in which they requested information about records maintained during Trump's discussions with Putin.

Nadler has asked the White House for "contents of meetings between President Trump and Vladimir Putin on July 7, 2017, November 11, 2017, July 16, 2018 and November 30, 2018". "I cooperate all the time with everybody", he told reporters.

"We're far from making decisions" about impeachment, he said.

Companies who buy and use this report can identify potential gaps in existing markets, along with empower industry intelligence. The Artificial Intelligence Platform market, with respect to the product type, is segregated into On-Premise and Cloud-based.

Nadler defined obstruction of justice as any interference from President Trump and his associates in criminal investigations and any "alleged cover-up violations of the law", and public corruption as any possible violation of of the emolument clause and "conspiracy to violate federal campaign and financial reporting laws".

This means that Trump's widespread business interests are on the Judiciary Committee's radar-if not the investigatory chopping block.

"Over the last several years, President Trump has evaded accountability for his near-daily attacks on our basic legal, ethical, and constitutional rules and norms", Nadler said. They include former Trump national security adviser Michael Flynn, former campaign chairman Paul Manafort, former Trump adviser Roger Stone and Cohen.

Trump maintains that his campaign did not collude with Russian Federation and has repeatedly attacked the investigation on Twitter.
