Quarterback Fields confirms transfer to Ohio State

Quarterback Fields confirms transfer to Ohio State”

Ohio State is getting a new quarterback as Justin Fields is expected to transfer from Georgia, USA TODAY Sports reported Friday. He was the nation's No. 2 quarterback in the 2018 class and the No. 2 overall prospect. If Fields is eligible, he would compete with Tate Martell for the starting job next season.

Fields was the subject of racially bigoted comments made by a Georgia baseball player during a September 29 win against Tennessee, which led to that player's dismissal from the program after an internal investigation. Fields played in all 12 games, completing 27 of 39 passes for 328 yards with four touchdowns, and running for 266 yards and four touchdowns.

Solskjaer says attacking philosophy is in the DNA of the club and that he has every intention of making his side play that way. Juan Mata danced his way into the penalty area and found Ander Herrera , who teed up Pogba to sweep home first time.

Fields' most notable play of the season came in the SEC championship game loss to No. 1 Alabama, when he was used on a failed fake punt in the fourth quarter that set up the Crimson Tide's go-ahead touchdown.

Starting quarterback Dwayne Haskins had a phenomenal season and is expected to enter the 2019 NFL Draft after only his sophomore year. Day has been with the program as a quarterback coach and offensive coordinator since 2017.

Trump declares end to United States 'policeman' role in surprise Iraq visit
The Iraqi prime minister recently said Iraqi troops could deploy into Syria to protect Iraq from threats across its borders. Trump had planned to spend Christmas at his private club in Florida, but stayed behind in Washington due to the shutdown.

It should be a blast seeing how well Fields can do under Ryan Day at OSU.

Fields hopes to become eligible immediately at Ohio State, where he would have 3 years of college eligibility remaining. Sasser was dismissed from the UGA baseball team after the incident.

Second Guatemalan child dies in immigration custody
After being detained in El Paso, Texas , he and his father were taken to a local processing centre, where they spent two days. The boy and his father were taken to a temporary site at the Highway 70 checkpoint, where the child received the medication.

It likely means the end of Haskins' time with the Buckeyes because the Heisman finalist quarterback already said Fields was waiting on him before deciding where he'd end up.
