Debbie Wasserman Schultz Finally Bails on the Women's March”

This year's Women's March has been hurt by accusations of anti-Semitism that have trailed the group's organizers. The weather has never been flawless.

Sydney Leidig, 19, of northwest suburban Algonquin stayed warm in her pink-eared knit cap, the icon of the movement from the original women's marches following the January 2017 inauguration of President Donald Trump. "He has pat solutions for problems of his own making", she said.

The interviewer, Margaret Hoover, pushed her to specify whether that applied to the Jewish state.

Megan Owens traveled all the way from downstate Quincy on the train Friday night to take part in the rally.

"While the Women's March is a movement pushing back against President Trump and his administration's words and actions towards the disenfranchised - namely women - the mission of the movement in no way excuses it from being held to an inclusive set of values", IU College Democrats' executive board said in a statement.

UK's Prince Philip, 97, has hospital check-up after road crash
According to the BBC , Buckingham Palace confirmed the crash involved another vehicle and police attended the scene. Warne added, "He was obviously shaken and then he went and asked if everyone else [in the other car] was alright".

"We just captured the House", she said, "and now we got to show what we are going to do with it".

Posters dotting the scene defended women's rights and mocked the president, including one with an image of Trump as an infant, declaring him "the only baby that belongs in a cage". "I'm not Jewish. So for me to speak to that is not fair".

"I understand the history, that there are people who have a number of sort of ideologies around why the Jewish people feel this should be their land", Mallory said, not answering the question.

But for the third straight year, marchers were flocking to rallies in Washington's Freedom Plaza, New York and elsewhere Saturday.

Two previous January events drew hundreds of thousands of people to Grant Park.

The annual Women's March walk down Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington.

That includes pushing for a policy document they call the "Women's Agenda", addressing issues including immigrant rights, violence against women, civil rights and liberties, and climate justice, among others. "The first women's march didn't look like any other women's movement that we have seen before".

However, during a radio interview, Mallory seemed to be a little stronger in her criticism while still avoiding a full objection to the statements. In a recent Facebook post, she claimed Sarsour and Mallory, along with fellow organizers Bob Bland and Carmen Perez, had "steered the Movement away from its true course" and called for all four to step down. Mallory also had praised Farrakhan on social media.

The Women's March returned to Washington on Saturday and found itself coping with an ideological split and an abbreviated route due to the government shutdown.

The demographic in Chicago was younger, but their message echoed that of generations of women who have come before them. Organizers there said they aim "to demand equal justice for black women, immigrant women, women of color, and gender nonconforming people".
