White House vows to yank CNN access again

White House vows to yank CNN access again”

In a filing on Monday, CNN and Acosta asked for an expedited hearing next week after top White House communications officials told Acosta in a letter late on Friday that it had already chose to suspend his pass once the two-week restraining order expires.

"The White House is continuing to violate the First and 5th Amendments of the Constitution".

President Donald Trump watches as a White House aide reaches to take away a microphone from CNN journalist Jim Acosta during a news conference in the East Room of the White House in Washington.

In his closing remarks, Kelly made clear that the ruling, which is only the beginning of the court proceedings to decide Acosta's White House access, was narrow and didn't determine whether or not Acosta's First Amendment right was violated.

It's been 30 days since the caravan organized a mass migration to the U.S.from San Pedro Sula in Honduras. Such a change would not affect the caravan if the migrants requested asylum at a port of entry.

"From the looks of the letter, the W.H.is trying to establish a paper trail that will empower the administration to boot Acosta again at the end of the month".

In the letter to Acosta, the White House says it "didn't think formal rules for journalists were necessary prior to the CNN reporter's actions".

In a court filing Monday, CNN said the administration was creating "retroactive due process".

After critics derided the administration for using a doctored video to make its point, the White House changed its story, saying last week that Acosta's pass was revoked only because he had "refused to surrender" the microphone.

Man City assert their superiority as Jose Mourinho holds back Man United
But City's scouts have so far failed to find a player capable of replacing one of the most important cogs in Guardiola's team. But Ilkay Gundogan put the result beyond doubt four minutes from time with a third goal that crowned a sublime 44-pass move.

Trump called Acosta a "rude, awful person" and later suspended the reporter's press pass, preventing his attendance at future White House press conferences.

Speaking outside the court earlier, Acosta praised the decision and told reporters "let's go back to work". The judge also remarked on Acosta "laying hands" on a White House intern, calling the characterization "likely untrue" and "partly based on evidence of questionable accuracy".

But according to CNN, the Trump administration said it's going to revoke Acosta's pass again once the temporary restraining order expires.

In an interview on Friday, following Judge Kelly's ruling, Trump told Fox News he would not tolerate reporters "acting up" in the future. "It turns out that press access to the White House is grounded very much in tradition rather than in plain-letter law". The letter cited his conduct at President Trump's November 7 press conference. "It's not a big deal and if he misbehaves, we'll throw him out or we'll stop the news conference", Trump said.
