Trump to Female Reporter: I Know You're Not Thinking, You Never Do”

President Donald Trump had a "sad" exchange with a female reporter Cecilia Vega yesterday, during a press conference on the trade deal with Mexico and Canada and other topics.

The reporter, ABC's White House correspondent Cecilia Vega, then tried to correct the president, but was then met with further insults.

Vega responded with "I'm sorry?" before calmly asking him about reports that the White House is limiting the scope of the Federal Bureau of Investigation inquiry into Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.

When Vega received the microphone, she assured Trump that she was not shocked and thanked him for calling on her.

White House not micromanaging Kavanaugh probe
Kavanaugh and Ford appeared before the Senate Judiciary Committee last week, where they answered questions about the allegations. The allegations are far from the first to accuse the judge of being a hard partier prone to aggressive behavior when drunk.

"That's okay", Trump said, "I know you're not thinking".

Later, Collins attempted to change the subject to ask two questions about the Kavanaugh investigation, and Trump wasn't having it.

Vega later addressed the exchange on Twitter, saying she believed the President had clearly heard her questions.

"Let's do that later", the president said. Trump dodged the question, so she asked again. "A news conference means you get to ask whatever question you want to ask #FirstAmendment", she wrote.

He has indicated privately he will not look to force a transfer in January but will reassess his options at the end of the season. We had the personality to take penalties and play the way we did.

The reporter, surprised by the president's response, then said, "I'm sorry?" More importantly, they seem to be more questions the GOP administration is refusing to answer.

But Mr Trump's interaction with Ms Vega was not the only contentious moment during the Monday press conference, which was arranged by the White House to discuss trade issues.

Trump interrupted Jiang as well and when she pointed that fact out, he told her to sit down. Trump said. "I don't mind answering the question".

Thank you for signing up. "You know what, you've really had enough". The president called a press conference at the White House to announce the long-awaited deal, known as USMCA, which will replace NAFTA.

There were almost 45,000 "O'Rourke" tweets as well, and all three terms became top trends in the U.S. Looming over the race is the omnipresence of President Trump.

When the White House distributed a transcript of the meeting to media contacts, the line was different, with an incongruous "thanking" substituted for "thinking". "I'm not giving it to you".
