Wenger put the 'Arsenal Way' above winning, says Cech

Wenger put the 'Arsenal Way' above winning, says Cech”

"What we lacked in the past - I would say the "Arsenal way" was more important than getting the points sometimes and this is not how you win the league", Cech was quoted by The Independent as telling reporters after Sunday's 2-0 home win over Everton.

Arsenal manager Unai Emery has surprised many this season by pairing Aubameyang and Lacazette up front for his side this season.

Everton had the better of the first half at Emirates Stadium, with Richarlison - back after a three-match domestic ban for headbutting an opponent - proving risky down the left wing and forcing a good parried save out of Cech. He's started the season very well and we think he's giving us the performance we want.

"I'm very happy with the goalkeeper, and how they are all working for us, Emiliano [Martinez], [Bernd] Leno and Cech. But Bernd Leno is a young goalkeeper and he has a big future here".

North Korea, South Korea begin ‘era of no war’
Stop military drills aimed at each other along the Military Demarcation Line, which divides the two countries, by November 1. Meanwhile, however, Moon and Kim made concrete moves of their own to reduce tensions on their border.

Arsenal's Gabonese striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scores his team's second goal during the English Premier League football match between Arsenal and Everton at the Emirates Stadium in London on 23 September 2018. "We need to improve and then maybe in one year we will be at the same level of Liverpool".

"Today he showed us he is very well and is continuing with this work and this spirit every day".

Cech's heroics laid the foundation for Arsenal's burst of two goals in three minutes, but it might have been different if Emery had been quicker with a planned substitution.

"Sometimes you need to make sure you win an ugly game, when you are not playing completely well but you just dig deep, close the back door and win 1-0 no matter how".

Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez defeats Gennady Golovkin on majority decision
This time around, Alvarez (50-1-2) was the aggressor early, pressing forward and making Golovkin retreat. Alvarez claimed a majority decision, with the judges' scorecards reading 114-114 115-113 115-113.

"We needed to change something in this moment to give us another individual quality on the pitch. Winning is better I think to find this but I think we are on the way". "Then we scored the goal and I made a decision to stop it and think again about who we need next".

After a quiet first half, France internatinal Lacazette fired Arsenal into the lead with a curling strike from just inside the box.

"It's clear the second goal is offside".
