Musk says hes cracking under stress of Tesla job”

Several Tesla Inc shareholders have told Reuters they are concerned that the electric auto maker will have to pay more to fund its growth if it becomes a private company and loses the ability to sell new shares to stock market investors.

From a broader perspective, Musk says some of his friends are concerned with his heavy work schedule that included a 120-hour week as the company struggled to ramp Model 3 production volume.

Tesla produced slightly more than 100,000 vehicles a year ago and the company has been struggling to boost production of its Model 3, which is less expensive than its first models and could help expand Tesla's base.

"This past year has been the most hard and painful year of my career".

Investors must have gotten unnerved. As of Friday afternoon, Tesla's shares were trading at around $305, down more than 9 percent for the day.

"Foden will play for City for a long time", insists Guardiola
Although the midfielder featured in City's final game of last season, it was only to ensure he had played sufficient matches to claim a title medal.

Musk sparked a furore in the markets, the media and among investors earlier this month when he tweeted his intentions to take his publicly traded company private, with the assurance: "Funding secured". Musk spent nights at Tesla's Fremont, California, factory working out production problems on its new Model 3 vehicle that is supposed to take Tesla from niche luxury carmaker to a mass producer that competes with Detroit.

Yet there may be hope for this billionaire still: Tesla board members are reportedly searching for a No. 2 executive to help take some of the weight off Musk's shoulders, the Times reported.

But a tweet Musk said he fired off on August 7 while driving to the airport may force the board to act. "Weed is not helpful for productivity", he told the Times. And some board members have expressed concern not only about Musk's workload but also about his use of Ambien for sleep, two people familiar with the board said.

In a tweet on Friday, CNBC news anchor Jim Cramer called the latest interview "devastating" and said "the safest thing for Musk right now is a medical leave".

Even if his Tesla was on autopilot mode, last I checked the driver is still supposed to be alert and probably not tweeting things that will quickly become the subject of a federal investigation.

Actress Charlotte Rae, star of 'Facts of Life,' dead at 92
Charlotte is survived by her two children, Larry and Andrew Strauss, from her marriage to U.S. film composer John Strauss. The actress was nominated for two Tony awards and received an an Emmy nomination in 1975 and again in 1982.

If Tesla directors are anxious about Musk - and they should be - here is advice for them: Do your jobs.

The interview offered rare insights into Musk's personal life and thinking. "Is there someone who can do the job better?"

Tesla's board has since clarified that it hasn't received a formal proposal from Mr Musk, nor has it concluded whether going private would be advisable or feasible.

"I thought the worst of it was over", he told The New York Times.

Musk has cited his long-running vendetta with short-sellers, who are betting that Tesla's stock will go down, as well as Wall Street's short-term focus on quarterly earnings, as reasons to take the company private.

Portugal sizzles in 45C as heatwave scorches Europe
The rest of Spain, including the normally wet and temperate northwestern region of Galicia, was also punished by the sun and heat. And temperatures could edge a degree higher on Tuesday, potentially peaking at 34C in Essex or Norfolk, the Met Office said.

And, earlier this year, Musk tweeted that "most people don't know this, but comets [are] mostly made of cocaine".
