Fortnite Has Reportedly Earned $1 Billion From In-Game Purchases”

But somehow, it feels like Fortnite has been with us forever. That's according to a new report by SuperData, which estimates that the game has generated more than $1 billion in revenue across all platforms.

It has been one year since Epic Games released Fortnite: Save the World as an early-access purchase.

While FORTNITE: The Movie, hits numerous notes of the gaming phenomenon, it's important to know it is not related to a Fortnite television show that was rumored to be in the works.

Anderson Cooper of CNN calls Trump-Putin news conference 'disgraceful'
In the last seven days Trump has rattled NATO's cage, demanding they increase defence funding generously and immediately. He said US-Russian relations should not be "held hostage" to an internal political struggle in America.

Unlike in past seasons, changes to the game since the launch of Season 5 means that this week's challenges aren't just relevant for Battle Pass holders, but every player, regardless if they purchased the Battle Pass.

It's pretty incredible when you think about the amount of dollars Epic Games has generated from Fortnite, given that the game is free to download and play. Since players experienced so much lag making them unable to move in some instances, Epic made a decision to cut the tournament short after just four games. Following the $2 million earned upon its initial 24 hours on Nintendo Switch, Fortnite is perhaps the most successful game in the history of the industry through its first year on the market.

Ninja, one of the most popular Fortnite streamers, has helped the game to grow rapidly. The majority of growth came from the console, with mobile and PC both coming in flat compared to April.

Delirious French revel in World Cup victory
For France, losing in the 2016 European Championships final to Portugal in Paris has provided added motivation. As a player, Deschamps, now 49, was one of the most decorated of his era.

7, players will be able to complete a set of three birthday challenges in Battle Royale mode to unlock birthday-themed cosmetic items, new character skins and other goodies.

The battle royale genre is immensely popular right now. Though the figures, apparel, and more have not been shown, fans of Funko's merchandise know distorted proportions and cute aesthetics are in store.

Last time we wrote about Fortnite's success, back in June, the game had raked in $100 million on iOS alone.
