Kellyanne Conway: Kelly Sadler has other job opportunities in the Trump administration”

Counselor to the President Kellyanne Conway on Wednesday morning indicated that Sadler may qualify for other jobs in the White House.

Sen. McCain is now battling terminal brain cancer and was also mocked by Trump during his campaign.

This is a developing story.

Singapore's foreign minister heads to North Korea ahead of Trump-Kim summit
Moon's office Cheong Wa Dae said it's up to Pyongyang and Washington and that no decision has been made yet. Trump, once again complained that past presidents failed to deal successfully with the North Korea problem.

Conway elaborated that the potential job opportunities could be within a Cabinet agency and that Sadler would decide if she desired to continue working for the Trump administration.

"Someone had it out for Kelly Sadler", Scaramucci, who served as the White House communications director for less than two weeks last summer, told CNN's Chris Cuomo.

The White House has not disputed the remark Sadler reportedly made, only issuing a statement shortly afterward: "We respect Senator McCain's service to our nation and he and his family are in our prayers during this hard time".

Mueller says Manafort tried to tamper with witnesses, hide evidence
Manafort faces two indictments in Washington, D.C., and Virginia on charges related to tax fraud and other financial crimes . Prosecutors asked that the judge overseeing his case "revoke or revise" the order releasing him ahead of trial.

White House Principal Deputy Press Secretary Raj Shah has confirmed that Sadler has left her job "within the Executive Office of the President", but it remains unclear whether her departure was related to her imprudent remark on McCain's terminal illness.

Privately, Sadler did apologize to McCain's daughter Meghan in a phone call. The president, who very rarely says sorry, did not demand an apology - even though other aides said Sadler should. She met press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders last week to discuss staff downsizing in the Communication Department to check flow of leaks from the White House, and suggested Sadler's name, the Daily Beast reported.

Sadler's comment spurred an intensive effort inside the West Wing to seek out leakers.

DeChambeau leads by one, Woods in the hunt at Memorial
He was briefly tied for the lead Saturday until three-putt bogeys on the 16th and 18th holes, and he had to settle for a 68. Bryson DeChambeau finally got it right on his third try at the 18th hole and won the Memorial in a playoff on Sunday.

The White House then cut down the size of communications meetings, aides said. "And they should be fired".
