Gmail’s big redesign is coming to everyone beginning next month

Gmail’s big redesign is coming to everyone beginning next month”

Google today announced that the new version of Gmail will launch into general availability and become available to all G Suite users next month. It's going to start doing that next month but initially for G Suite users only.

Google is giving G Suite users as much time as they need to make the transition, but approximately eight weeks after the general availability announcement, anyone who hasn't transitioned will be automatically migrated to the redesign, but with the ability to opt out for another four weeks. It wouldn't amaze to see Google begin to move free users over to the new plan in the coming a long time too.

The new Gmail will add the "confidential mode", which will let users add authentication via text messages before opening an email that they deem very sensitive. In October, the opt-out button will disappear and all G Suite users will be forced to migrate to the new Gmail.

Taliban, Afghan officials in ceasefire talks: U.S. general
Three attackers, wearing military uniforms, detonated explosives while the others were shot by government troops, officials said. Later reports , however, said the attackers were wearing U.S. military uniforms, and were likely members of the Taliban.

Admins can also give users the option to try the new Gmail at their own pace or - and this is the default setting - they can just wait another four weeks and then Google will automatically give users the option to opt in.

As of now, the highly anticipated redesigned Gmail is an EAP, which means that the customers can choose to or opt out of participating at the levels of the domain and organizational unit.
