Spurs to open playoffs at Warriors after loss in regular season finaleā€

What I do know is that the Warriors could not have asked for a better playoff bracket.

The Warriors have looked vulnerable, unlike any other time during their three-plus-year reign with the NBA's top record and their struggles at both ends of the court have been well-documented, clearly lacking the same fire that made them such a tough team to beat.

The Golden State Warriors have looked sloppier than usual in recent months thanks to a rash of injuries and general malaise, and now the rest of the National Basketball Association may see them as more vulnerable than ever.

Granted, the various leg injuries to Stephen Curry, who missed 31 games this season and is expected to sit out the first round of the playoffs as well, would be enough to trip up any team, even one as mighty as the Dubs.

But the Warriors will be without Curry for the start of the playoffs after he sprained the MCL in his left knee two weeks ago.

But the result is of little use to Atletico, now 11 points behind Barca with just seven rounds of the Primera Division remaining. But the lead was short-lived as Antoine Griezmann fired home just four minutes later for a share of the spoils at the Bernabeu.

Can the Warriors' offense, which has struggled over the last few weeks, keep up with a loaded Western Conference playoff field if Curry - whose long-range shooting stretches defenses and spaces the court in ways previously unseen on an National Basketball Association court - isn't on the court?

If you're a fan of a team that isn't the Warriors and your hope is that this means your team can sell Durant and leaving the bay area, I have some bad news.

"I was talking with several coaches and execs from teams in the West morass from three to eight, nine", ... "There are people who will say, 'I'd rather play the Warriors right now in the first round than the Thunder or the Jazz". Without Curry, the Warriors are the second best team in the National Basketball Association at worst. The financial terms of the deal raised eyebrows as a player of Durant's caliber could have commanded around $10 million more on a max salary.

Curry, the engine of the Warriors, whose skill set helps generate the entire offense, apparently changes that. The Warriors have won the Western Conference title six times.

The Spurs lost at New Orleans in Wednesday's regular season finale and will now open the 2018 National Basketball Association playoffs on the road against the defending National Basketball Association champion Golden State Warriors. Before this season began, many thought the Warriors winning the championship was all but ensured.

What followed was a kind of fudged change, bolstering his central midfield but leaving another area of the field undermanned. Out of the eight fixtures disputed in Germany between 2013 and 2015, Guardiola won four and Klopp won four.

He's having a great season this year, but he hasn't been at peak form.

Most in the National Basketball Association world believe the answer is yes, mainly because the Warriors have noted all season long that this year would be a grind as they wait for the playoffs, their true season, to begin.

However, there's risk in playing half-heartedly for long stretches and then trying to turn it on when needed. He's also turned himself into one of the league's peskiest defenders. That is, the repetitions needed to be that good aren't there. It would be the largest deal in National Basketball Association history if San Antonio forward Kawhi Leonard doesn't sign a super max this summer.

The Warriors, on the other hand, get San Antonio - a team that they are unquestionably superior to, even without Curry - and then the victor of the Portland-New Orleans first-round matchup.
