Feds Investigating National Enquirer's $30000 Payment over Trump Love-Child Rumor

Feds Investigating National Enquirer's $30000 Payment over Trump Love-Child Rumor”

Sajudin declined to discuss his story, they reported.

Sajudin, claimed the affair happened in 1989.

The National Enquirer has also denied that the Trump Organization had any role in its decision to squash the doorman's story, saying the story's lack of credibility led it to be shelved. He said the story "had to come out", and he referred further questions to his lawyer.

The search warrant executed this week for documents and records belonging to President Donald Trump's personal attorney, Michael Cohen, included specific mentions of "AMI", the media company that owns The National Enquirer, according to two sources familiar with the warrant who detailed its contents to ABC News.

One focus of the inquiry is Cohen's relationship with David Pecker, AMI's chief executive and chairman, according to people familiar with the investigators' work. And now here we are with yet another plausible Trump rumor.

Federal Bureau of Investigation agents raided Cohen's office, home and hotel room on Monday, seeking information about the payment to Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford.

Third death reported from synthetic cannabinoids
Adams County Sheriff Brian VonderHaar said deputies also haven't noticed a jump in synthetic cannabinoids in the county. It is often sprayed on dried plants so it can also be smoked, vaped or otherwise consumed similarly.

It is unclear whether investigators are also scrutinizing the AMI payment to Sajudin.

Sajudin, who claims he was paid to keep quiet about an alleged extramarital affair President Donald Trump had that produced a child out of wedlock, was called "a pathological liar" by his ex-wife on Thursday.

The AP story doesn't give out any details of the threat.

Such a story would have been a "huge scoop" for the tabloid, which broke a similar story about then-presidential candidate John Edwards in 2008, the person noted.

Ronan's six sources on the Dino story are all skeptical about the truth behind Dino's love child claims, however, they are adamant that AMI made sure to shut down the story one way or the other.

On Wednesday, an Enquirer sister publication, RadarOnline, published details of the payment and the rumor that Sajudin was peddling.

LEWIS HAMILTON fired a fresh shot in his row with Max Verstappen by declaring his immaturity is costing Red Bull valuable points. Following that setback, there was a clear breakdown in understanding between him and his race engineers in Bahrain .

Late in 2015, a former Trump Tower doorman named Dino Sajudin met with a reporter from American Media, Inc., the publisher of the National Enquirer, at a McDonald's in Pennsylvania.

Indeed, AMI's Radar deciding to finally publish Sajudin's account so soon after the company was contacted about it - and two years after the agreement with Sajudin was reached - suggests AMI didn't like how the whole thing looked. It also sought all his communication about an embarrassing "Access Hollywood" tape that surfaced in October 2016, weeks before the election.

Paying for a catch-and-kill story is unto itself not a crime, however whether or not these payments were made with campaign funds may be the smoking gun. But like McDougal's, the story also never ran, and the parallels with the McDougal and Stormy Daniels payments certainly raise questions about whether the payment was simply an effort to kill it to benefit Trump's campaign - and whether there was any coordination between AMI and Trump attorney Michael Cohen or the Trump campaign. The media company later said it paid McDougal for a series of "fitness columns and magazine covers". "I think they lost their money", she said. She is suing to break the contract so she can speak freely, arguing that her story about Trump is "core political speech entitled to the highest protection under the law".

Although Sajudin's $30,000 pales in comparison to McDougal's, the kicker is a clause that subjects him to a $1 million penalty should he break his contract with A.M.I., which later claimed that his story was bogus.

Another source told the New Yorker it was "unheard of" for AMI to pay so much for secondhand information.
