Feinstein Fails to Receive Party's Endorsement at California Democratic Party Convention”

In a sharp rebuke to Sen. The Democratic Party is moving sharply left in response to President Trump, as activists look to purge politicians they don't think are partisan or progressive enough.

"The outcome of today's endorsement vote is an astounding rejection of politics as usual, and it boosts our campaign's momentum as we all stand shoulder-to-shoulder against a complacent status quo", said de Leon, reports Politico. Dianne Feinstein of California.

Kevin failed to win the 60 percent support needed to win the endorsement at the annual convention of the Democrats despite the support from California Democratic Party. It took Feinstein a while before she made a decision to vote against a spending bill last December and last January in order to show her protest over the Trump administration's immigration policy.

The vote took place Saturday evening and was counted overnight as party leaders took care, in tabulating the results, to avoid the chaos and challenges that came after the election of Eric C. Bauman as party leader in the face of a challenge from the party's insurgent wing.
