Kansas City Chiefs trading Marcus Peters to LA Rams

Kansas City Chiefs trading Marcus Peters to LA Rams”

Schefter reports that trade talks are in their final stages.

The Kansas City Chiefs have agreed to trade Marcus Peters to the Los Angeles Rams. However, the Rams managed to keep Quinn while landing Peters in the process.

Wales must attack Sexton and Murray - Gatland
In the build-up to Saturday's game, Gatland was quizzed about whether he thinks Ireland have been the best team in the Six Nations so far.

The move ensures that the Kansas City Chiefs have the utmost confidence in Kendall Fuller, as did the Washington Redskins when they ultimately made a decision to trade him away in January. The ball-hawking cover man compiled 19 interceptions in just three seasons.

But he also found plenty of controversy. Peters reacted to a penalty in the Chiefs' secondary by picking up the flag, throwing it into the stands, leaving the field because he thought he had been ejected and then eventually returning to the game.

24 flu-related hospitalizations reported in LeFlore County
Doctors tell us there are four strains of flu, and you can get the flu a couple of times in the same season. The authors note that they studied only people who were sick enough to visit a doctor and get tested.

Although it spells the end of Trumaine Johnson's time with the Rams, the prospect of having Peters in Wade Phillips' defense is very enticing.

Peters was a first round pick (18th) by the Chiefs in 2015. Later in the season Peters remained in the tunnel leading to the field from the locker room and did not appear on the field during the national anthem.

How Mueller's Latest Indictment Relates to the Steele Dossier
According to a report past year in the Kiev Post, van der Zwaan served as a go-between for the Skadden team that went to Ukraine. On Oct. 27, prosecutors accused Manafort and Gates of hiding their lobbying work in Ukraine and laundering millions of dollars.

Trading a player of Peters' caliber, who can be under contract for a bargain rate for the next two seasons - $1.8 million in 2018, team fifth-year option in 2019 - is nearly unheard of in the NFL. Without a second-rounder after dealing that selection to Buffalo last summer, the Rams are likely dealing their first-round pick as part of the package heading back to Kansas City.
