Here's how to directly listen to audiobooks on Google Home”

In what could be a move to challenge Amazon's domination in the market, Google might soon sell audiobooks on its Play Store, media reported. A lot of newly-released books are available on sale in the audiobook format through Google Play. You will be able to buy and download audiobooks on both Google Play for iOS and Android. The audiobooks are available on Android, iOS, the web and with Google Assistant-enabled devices like Google Home smart speakers. Not only that but if you're using more than one device to play an audiobook, you'll be told if the device you're now listening to is ahead of or behind another device and get the option to jump to the place where that device left off.

Google updated its Play Books service to bring audiobooks to it with Google Assistant integration and casting support.

Google audiobooks now in India: Now users can just ask Google Assistant to read out books, which they purchase. The developers left no stones unturned as they have successfully integrated all audiobooks with Google Assistant.

Google won't offer a subscription pricing plan like Audible does. You simply buy each individual audiobook "at an affordable price", and enjoy it across different devices. And to help spur some purchases, Google is offering steep discounts on some titles like Astrophysics for People in a Hurry ($7.77) and Ready Player One ($6.99). Users wanting to listen to an audiobook will be able to purchase literature and have it read on the go. While Apple has a stronghold on their App store and doesn't approve apps so easily, Google is much more lenient in this regard. And though it's "coming soon to the Assistant on Android Auto in the United States", it won't be there at launch.

My 2 cents: Dolores O'Riordan will be missed
Large crowds are expected to gather between 12.30 and 4pm, as the body of The Cranberries' singer lies in repose at St. She attended the nearby An Mhodh Scoil (Model School) and Laurel Hill Coláiste FCJ school. "Dolores is attractive .

Some of its features include an ability to listen to audiobooks without a subscription, continue reading across multiple platforms and more.

Listeners can also resume playing their audiobooks across devices using the same Google account. That's part of the reason audiobooks have become so popular in recent years, as they allow you to absorb enthralling adventures and intricate mysteries while your hands are busy whipping up dinner or you're out for your brisk morning walk.
