World of Warcraft Classic finally revealed at BlizzCon 2017

World of Warcraft Classic finally revealed at BlizzCon 2017”

But with a bit of Gnome tinkering and a probably a lot of hard work at Blizzard players will soon be able to revisit the old world of Azeroth. But shortly after that, Blizzard launched the idea of "pristine worlds", something described similarly to vanilla realms, and then a few days after that the heads of the World of Warcraft team and the heads of Blizzard invited the developers behind the Nostalrius servers to private discussions. From what I know of the new expansion is that Blizzard will be allowing for Horde players to travel to three zones set in the island of Kul Tiras. As such, they seem to already be cautioning players that it will take them sometime to actually activate these servers for public use.

In an extensive interview with Polygon, World of Warcraft director Ion Hazzikostas discussed the game's journey since Warlords of Draenor-an expansion with poor endgame content partly responsible for driving almost 4 million subscribers away. Both sides are rallying their forces for an all-out conflict on a scale never seen in the World of Warcraft. The new races will also be playable once they are unlocked. The time for compromise has passed, however, and now Azeroth is on the brink of world war.

Japanese company increases vacation time for non-smokers
A marketing company in Tokyo is awarding a novel perk to its non-puffing employees: an extra week's holiday for nonsmokers. Japanese companies are encouraging its employees to quit smoking by providing the facility of six additional leaves.

The news comes via today's BlizzCon 2017 opening ceremony livestream, where executive producer J. Allen Brack was on hand to give the details.

As you might expect from a new WoW expansion, Battle for Azeroth is launching with a wealth of new content for players to dive into. Gamers will explore these islands with up to two other players, but no two experiences will be the same; even when players visit the same island twice, they will find new challenges and missions.

After Mueller indictments, Tony Podesta steps aside from namesake lobbying firm
Podesta founded the eponymous Podesta Group in 1988 along with his brother, John, although John left in the mid-90s. Podesta Group said at the time it believed its client was a European think tank untethered to a political party.

This weekend, Blizzard and its loyal base of fans have gathered in Anaheim, CA for BlizzCon, the annual convention and biggest event of the year for the gaming giant. The scaling (and re-leveling process) will eventually be applied to all of Azeroth, offering a much broader range of levels for particular zones. While many expansions have been set on the land, Battle for Azeroth takes place in the ocean between the Maelstrom and the Eastern Kingdoms.
