'Need the wall': Trump condemns Sinai mosque attackā€

At least 235 people were killed and another 109 injured in an attack Friday on a Sufi mosque, Egyptian state-run media reported, in what appears to be the deadliest terror attack on Egyptian soil.

An Egyptian television channel reported that President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi will meet with security officials later today to discuss the attack.

On Twitter, President Donald Trump also condemned the attack, calling it "horrible and cowardly".

Hundreds of Sufi Muslims were slaughtered during Friday prayers in Egypt's Sinai Peninsula by suspected Islamic militants. Around 40 gunmen set up positions outside the mosque with jeeps and opened fire from different directions as people tried to escape.

The president said that Egypt will stand strong in the face of terrorism, and will continue its war against it.
