Kushner hands over key documents to Mueller in Russian Federation probe

Kushner hands over key documents to Mueller in Russian Federation probeā€

President Donald Trump blames Jared Kushner for some of the decisions that led to special counsel Robert Mueller's appointment, according to a report in Vanity Fair.

Mueller's investigators have expressed interest in Kushner as part of its probe into Russian meddling, including potential obstruction of justice in Comey's firing, informed sources told CNN on Thursday.

The network based its report on "sources close to the White House".

He was also among three top Trump campaign officials who attended an infamous June 2016 meeting at Trump Tower with a Kremlin-backed lawyer.

CNN fact-checks White House briefing in real time
For their part, the Department of Justice did not respond to inquiries on the subject Monday afternoon. She said the campaign fully cooperated with investigators while "what Papadopoulos did was lie".

"Here's what Manafort's indictment tells me: Mueller is going to go over every financial dealing of Jared Kushner and the Trump Organization", Nunberg said.

Kushner reportedly advised the president to fire Comey, over the advice of some other senior advisers, and was present during a weekend when the president drafted a letter to fire the director.

CNN said Kushner gave the documents at his own free will.

Comey's firing ultimately led Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein to appoint Mueller as the special counsel. The focus on the Comey firing goes to a larger question about the involvement in possible obstruction of justice in the Russian Federation investigation.

Former White House staff members-whether encamped at Breitbart News or anywhere else-are constrained by 18 USC 207, which governs "restrictions on former officers, employees, and elected officials of the executive and legislative branches".

"Jared is the worst political adviser in the White House in modern history", Sam Nunberg, an associate of Stone who was a Trump campaign operative, told Vanity Fair.

Mueller's team also announced that former Trump foreign policy adviser George Papadopoulos, 30, had pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI in its investigation.

Mr Trump continued to dismiss the indictments as "fake news" after their release, and attempted to shift the focus to Hillary Clinton's dealings with Russian Federation.

NOAA Predicts Warmer, Drier Winter for Southern California
NOAA's Climate Prediction Center calls for colder than average temperatures across the Pacific Northwest in 2017-18. Last winter was one of the warmest on record, and there were still a number of significant snowstorms.

The news comes after a dramatic week in which Trump's former campaign chair Paul Manafort, and Manfort's business partner Rick Gates, were indicted on 12 counts including money laundering. "I'm only saying publicly what everyone says behind the scenes at Fox News, in conservative media, and the Senate and Congress".
