Led coalition blocks ISIL evacuation to east Syria town with air strike”

IS militants and their families who had been inside an IS enclave on the Lebanon-Syria border reached an exchange point in eastern Syria on Tuesday from where they will head to IS-held territory, a Hezbollah military media unit said.

Col. Ryan Dillon says Wednesday's airstrike hit vehicles identified as belonging to IS that were traveling from IS-held territory toward the convoy.

A coalition spokesman, Colonel Ryan Dillon, threatened Wednesday that a convoy of buses and ambulances carrying hundreds of ISIS fighters and their families was a legitimate target for USA forces.

Video of that engagement showed the Syrian army and fighters from Hezbollah - a Shia Islamist militant group and political party - pounding Islamic State positons in the mountain region close to the Lebanon border last week.

Hope and Brathwaite shine again as Windies scent victory
With the West Indies in cruise control, England were beginning to worry as the tourists were edging ever closer to victory. England already leads the three-match series 1-0 after victory by an innings in the first match.

"In accordance with the law of armed conflict, the coalition will take action against ISIS whenever and wherever we are able to without harming civilians", it said.

The evacuation agreement, the first such publicized deal, had already angered many Iraqis who accused Syria and Lebanon's Hezbollah of dumping the militants on the Iraqi border rather than eradicating them.

Brett McGurk, the US Special Presidential Envoy to the global coalition to defeat ISIS, who just returned from a two-week jaunt across the Middle East including Iraq, the Kurdistan Region, and Syria, offered the US stance.

"Our coalition will help ensure that these terrorists can never enter Iraq or escape from what remains of their dwindling "caliphate"".

Will one quarterback play the first quarter with the starters and one play the second? "I kind of look at it the other way". Most of the Jaguars' players say they are comfortable with either Henne or Bortles as the starter for the regular season.

Daesh fighters had been allowed safe passage under a controversial agreement with the Lebanese Hezbollah and the Syrian regime following their military defeat along the Lebanese-Syrian border. What's more, the withdrawal of militants from border areas will mean that the Lebanese army will consolidate evacuated areas along the frontier.

Nine Lebanese soldiers were kidnapped by ISIL in 2014 when they briefly overran the border town of Arsal. "Transferring terrorists from Qalamoun (an area on the Lebanese-Syrian border) to the Iraqi-Syrian border is worrying and an insult to the (Iraqi) people".

Lebanese President Michel Aoun declared victory against IS Wednesday in a live statement form the presidential palace. Lebanese officials say they are nearly sure the remains are of the soldiers. "We wish they were celebrating with us". "We are expecting the number to go up to eight", Ibrahim said, adding, "We believe that these remains belong to the soldiers".

In Syria, meanwhile, President Bashar Assad received Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Hossein Jaberi Ansari.
