Notorious 86-Year-Old International Thief Doris Payne Arrested Again

Notorious 86-Year-Old International Thief Doris Payne Arrested Again”

An 86-year-old global jewel thief, accused of stealing a $33,000 ring from a SouthPark mall jewelry store in 2015, was arrested for shoplifting at a Walmart in Georgia on Monday night. "This is now an 86 year old woman who needs some medicine and groceries to live day to day", he said.

Despite her numerous arrests, Payne's age has worked to her advantage as it's unlikely that a judge would commit a woman of her advanced years into state custody.

"I don't have any regrets about stealing jewelry", she says in the film's trailer.

Sevilla seal deal to sign Nolito from Manchester City
Half his goals came in his first three games, and he did not start a league game - or score a goal - in 2017. Manchester City forward Nolito has completed a move to Sevilla , signing a three-year deal.

Payne was most recently accused of stealing a $2,000 diamond necklace from a store at Perimeter Mall.

When asked about her exploits in a 2016 interview with the Associated Press, she said simply: "I was a thief". Payne was observed by a Walmart employee as she reportedly concealed items in her purse and a Walmart shopping bag before going to the check-out line, where she only paid for a few items remaining in her cart. Until her arrest on Monday, she was a little more than a week away from removing the ankle monitor and was in compliance with probation, her lawyer said.

The heist didn't follow Payne's usual M.O. of pocketing pricey trinkets - a security guard caught the octogenarian bandit placing $86.22 worth of knickknacks from the store into her purse and then trying to walk out with the ill-gotten goods.

According to NASA , the Great Red Spot's winds peak at approximately 400 miles per hour and have been swirling for more than 150 years.

It is unclear when Payne will appear in court on her latest shoplifting charge.

Authorities assert that Payne, who has been in prison a number of times, has used 22 aliases throughout her decades-long term as a jewelry thief. For her crime, she was sentenced to house arrest and was banned from shopping hubs in the city. She is thought to have stolen $2 million in jewellery and was profiled in a 2013 documentary, reports said.

'I don't have any regrets about stealing jewelry. In the story, Payne explains that she started shoplifting when she was just 10-years-old.
