After being unhappy with Tidal for a long time, Kanye claimed the company owed him $3 million and split from the music streaming service. Kanye's Life of Pablo album was a short lived exclusive on Tidal, and purportedly brought in 1.5 million new subscribers for which he was supposed to receive a bonus.

Now there appears to be some trouble in Roc-A-Fella paradise as Kanye has pulled his catalog from Tidal over claims that he's owed more than $3 million, according to TMZ. It's reported that legal letters are now going backwards and forwards between the Jay-Z headed streaming company and one of its highest profile celebrity backers, Kanye West.

In addition, the company did not reimburse him for his music videos despite promising to do so.

Things get messy because this news is breaking after the release of Jay-z's album 4:44.
