Anthony Scaramucci's rant prompts questions over White House stability

Anthony Scaramucci's rant prompts questions over White House stability”

Trump tweeted that retired Gen. John Kelly, Trump's secretary of homeland security, would take over as chief of staff, calling him a "true star of my Administration".

That makes three Republican Party insiders now out of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in just a week - Sean Spicer said he was leaving his post as press secretary after a tumultuous period that saw him ridiculed on comedy shows and then sidelined by the president, and assistant press secretary Michael Short resigned after hearing he would be fired.

His new communications director, Anthony Scaramucci, on Thursday spoke on CNN about "good leaks and bad leaks" and "nefarious, unnecessary, backstabbing, palace intrigue-like leaks".

Scaramucci appeared to suggest in a Twitter post late on Wednesday that Priebus may have had a hand in what Scaramucci described as a "leak" of his official financial disclosure documents to the US news organization Politico.

The President broke the news on Twitter when the plane landed, welcoming incoming chief of staff Homeland Security Secretary John F. Kelly.

Judge rules against Charlie Gard's parents ... again
British courts and the European Court of Human Rights sided with the hospital in a string of hearings since March. Doctors at Great Ormond Street said the therapy would not help and that life-support treatment should stop.

Priebus presided over a chaotic and disorganized White House, and according to multiple reports, he was widely perceived within the Trump administration as being an ineffective chief of staff.

Kelly, 67, is a retired four star general of the Marine Corps and was tapped to lead the Department of Homeland Security on January 20. He told reporters that Priebus was "a good man", and thanked him for his service.

"We accomplished a lot together", Trump tweeted, "and I am proud of him!"

Trump mentions Priebus in the third tweet.

In a statement, Kelly said he was honoured to be asked to serve as the Chief of Staff to the President of the United States.

Humans Have Produced Whopping 9 Billion Tons of Plastic
China is the world's largest producer of plastics, with Europe and North America looming large as major players, Dr Geyer said. About half of the total amount of plastics produced from 1950 to 2015 has been made in just the last 13 years.

Meanwhile, Trump continues to publicly decry his own attorney general, Jeff Sessions, tweeting this week that Sessions is "beleaguered".

Scaramucci, nicknamed "the Mooch", predicted Priebus would resign soon and also threatened to fire the entire White House communications staff in a bid to eliminate damaging leaks to the press. But what remains to be seen is whether Trump will listen to him as Kelly seeks to bring order to a White House beset by chaos. "He is a Great American". Trump gave an aggressive anti-gang speech at Suffolk Community College Friday, congratulating Kelly right after praising acting Immigration and Customs Enforcement Director Tom Homan, who Trump said someone on television had said "looks very nasty, he looks very mean". "We'll be working on a transition", he said.

"What I want you guys to know is that he was my first call this morning".

"It has been one of the greatest honors of my life to serve this President and our country. It's just getting in the mud, and I think the palace intrigue stuff is annoying, and I think it's a distraction, and it takes away from the president's agenda", Priebus told Hannity.

A new name was added to the Trump Administration Friday following a week of drama surrounding the position of chief of staff, leading to the ousting of Reince Priebus. John has also done a spectacular job at Homeland Security. General Kelly has been a star, done an incredible job thus far, respected by everybody.

Guardiola insists Aguero will not leave Man City
When asked about the future's of Bravo and Aguero, Guardiola said: " Claudio Bravo will be a City keeper next season". Real Madrid right back Danilo could be one option along with Monaco's French defender Benjamin Mendy.

And the president's eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., seemed supportive of Scaramucci's quest to clamp down on leaks, saying Friday: "All I know is that he isn't/wasn't the leak!"
