Turkish president slams US charges for guards

Washington prosecutors have charged a dozen Turkish security and police officers with assault after an attack on protesters during Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan visit to the USA capital last month, officials said on Thursday.

In addition to the 12 Turkish security officers and police, prosecutors also announced felony assault charges against two Americans and two Canadians in connection with the violence. The DC-based Turkish news site Washington Hatti reported today that Eyup Yildirim was arrested for playing a role in this incident, and the Daily Caller now reports that a second, Sinan Narin, was also arrested.

Two people were arrested on site, and MPD made two more arrests yesterday, charging a Virginia and a New Jersey resident.

The DC police are expected to say that seven men are being charged for felonies, and another five for misdemeanors.

Lottery joins in manhunt for escaped inmates
The sheriff said he's watched the bus video on a cellphone, and couldn't immediately tell which inmate fired the fatal shots. Dubose is serving a 20-year sentence for armed robbery, aggravated assault and theft from a 2014 case.

Mr Newsham said: "We all saw the violence that was perpetrated against the protesters". Things became messy when the security detail and a few Erdogan supporters attacked the protesters.

The Turkish Embassy did not respond to a request for comment on Wednesday. "We support them to make sure they are safe".

The May 16 skirmish, caught on video, left nine protesters injured outside the Turkish ambassador's residence and further strained ties at a time when the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation allies are in sharp disagreement over policy in Syria. It is likely they will be extradited to face those charges in the United States.

The Turkish Foreign Ministry then summoned the U.S. ambassador to Turkey to complain about the treatment of the detained security guards. Moments after one of Erdogan's bodyguards briefly spoke to someone in the vehicle, multiple members of the bodyguard team charged across the street, brushed past overwhelmed police officers and began punching, kicking and choking protesters. In a separate video, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdo─čan could be seen in the driveway of the ambassador's residence watching the melee for a moment before walking inside. It also declares that "U.S. respect for free speech requires US officials to speak out against such incidents", a sad attempt at forcing Donald Trump, who hasn't publicly addressed the situation, into giving a shit. Hamparian's video showed pro-Erdogan forces crossing a police line and beating peaceful protesters - elderly men and several women - who were on the ground bleeding during most of the attack.

The first 3 awards are available right now: it's the FORD MUSTANG GT 2015, the DUCATI DIAVEL and the MASERATI GRAND TURISMO. The Crew 2 will apparently allow players to forge their own path, even if that means going off-road and exploring nature.

Turkey's Foreign Ministry has called in the United States ambassador to Ankara, John Bass, for talks after U.S. authorities issued arrest warrants for a dozen official Turkish security guards involved in a brawl with protesters in Washington last month.

However, she did note that their diplomatic immunity lapsed when they left the country, and they would be subject to arrest if they returned to the United States.

"Rarely have I seen in my nearly 28 years of policing the type of thing I saw in Sheridan Circle on that particular day", said Newsham.
