The third "Cars" movie from Walt Disney Co.'s Pixar topped the box office in theaters, beating a slew of middling new releases and dethroning two-time champ "Wonder Woman".

Cars 3 won this weekend's box office with a whopping $57.2 million debut.

The ensemble voice cast of "Cars 3" includes Owen Wilson, Cristela Alonzo, Armie Hammer, Larry the Cable Guy, Bonnie Hunt, Nathan Fillion, Kerry Washington, and Lea DeLaria.
