Saudi king touts Trump's Islamic summit as 'new partnership'

President Donald Trump is scheduled to deliver a speech on radical Islam to Muslim leaders in Saudi Arabia later this month, the White House announced Tuesday.

Trump's first foreign trip as President - an expansive 11-day, five-country jaunt coming days after the Russian Federation story and a week after he fired his Federal Bureau of Investigation chief - will begin in Saudi Arabia.

Trump's speech, according to McMaster, will address "the need to confront radical ideology and the president's hopes for a peaceful vision of Islam to dominate across the world".

North Korea: New long-range missile can carry heavy nuke
On Monday, Russian President Vladimir Putin condemned the launch as "counterproductive, damaging, dangerous". Even before North Korea gave its account of what happened, the launch caught the eye of experts.

"He will bring a message of tolerance and of hope to billions, including to millions of Americans who profess these faiths", Mr. McMaster said during a briefing at the White House.

Arsenal face the already relegated Sunderland on Tuesday; the Gunners now sit three points adrift of fourth placed Manchester City.

McMaster said Trump will participate in a signing ceremony of several agreements that will further solidify US-Saudi security and economic cooperation. "In many ways it is meant to build capabilities for the threats they face", the official said, adding that "it's good for the American economy but it will also be good in terms of building a capability that is appropriate for the challenges of the region". Today, the Trump administration is pushing through tens of billions of dollars' worth of arms sales to Riyadh; and garnering American support in its raging conflict against Iranian-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen is at the top of the Saudi agenda.

The president's anti-Muslim rhetoric continues to haunt his efforts to impose a travel ban on non-visa holders from six countries with Muslim majorities.

The new U.S. leader will also have to persuade those he meets that for all his America First campaign trail rhetoric, he can still be a genuine ally in worldwide affairs.

The right field porch was a friendly confine and in the Bronx as a Yankee the Houston Astros catcher hit 46 of his 69 home runs. The ceremonious cheers from the pregame honoring were quickly silenced just as Houston's George Springer stepped into the box.

Trump flies Friday to the Gulf kingdom as the first stop on his first overseas trip since inauguration. "He will visit the Church of the Holy Sepulcher and say a prayer at the Western Wall", McMaster said. That plan, also called the Arab Peace Initiative, calls for Israel to withdraw from the West Bank, Gaza Strip and east Jerusalem, and find a "just" solution for Palestinian refugees in exchange for peace with dozens of Arab and Muslim countries. The US leader will celebrate the contributions of Catholics to America and the world, discuss diplomatic issues with the pontiff and tour St Peter's Basilica.
