Boston Celtics win National Basketball Association draft lottery, Lakers second

Boston Celtics win National Basketball Association draft lottery, Lakers second”

The only thing that could possibly make this week better for Boston would be a Wednesday night victory over the Cavs in Game One.

"I'm glad we didn't trade it, you can write it down", Boston managing partner Wyc Grousbeck said.

As a result, the Celtics, the first seed in the East now playing in the Conference Finals, will have their choice of any player in what's considered the best draft class in years.

The Nuggets have never had a top-two pick in the draft. "Just the Lakers. There's nobody else that we need to workout for". The Boston Celtics had the best chance to win the lottery, which seems nearly unfair considering the fact they are a #1 seed in this year's playoffs. "I didn't know where we were going to land from there, but I was like 'OK, I can breathe now'". For a top three pick, it's 18.2 percent. The Celtics acquired the pick from Brooklyn, which had the worst record in the National Basketball Association last season, as a result of a 2013 trade that sent Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett to the Nets.

McDonald's expands delivery partnership with UberEats
McDonald's is the biggest restaurant chain in the U.S.in terms of sales, averaging $2.5 million per unit across 14,000 locations. McDonald's USA, LLC, serves a variety of menu options made with quality ingredients to more than 25 million customers every day.

While this trade would have been great in 2007, it's hard to imagine what the Nets were thinking, but apparently, the front office believed that a bunch of 36+ year old future Hall of Famers could bring a championship to Brooklyn immediately. For a team completely lacking in guards and perimeter shooting, a very guard stacked draft is the ideal way for them to address their needs. And now we squeeze in the lottery and win the pick.

Now, the Celtics get their choice from a guard-heavy field of talent.

However, Draft Express' Jonathan Givony says that while Ball is the "heavy favorite" to be picked No. 2, LA is also debating another point guard: Kentucky's De'Aaron Fox.

The Los Angeles Lakers got the second pick, and the Philadelphia 76ers will select third in the June 22 draft at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. We learned later that they jumped five spots to the No. 3 pick, but ultimately had to go back two spaces to Philadelphia as a part of a past trade that allowed a Sixers pick swap.

Israelis were "shocked" after Trump's White House waffled on the Western Wall
Trump, however, has vowed to break with that policy by moving the United States embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem . The status of sovereignty over the wall became a political issue between the USA and Israel earlier this week.

The 76ers, who used the top overall pick in Ben Simmons previous year, will select third.

The Sixers could also attempt to trade with the Boston Celtics for the first pick in the draft, but the Sixers would probably have to give up a lot to get that pick.

The third such occurrence took place during Tuesday night's lottery in New York City. A player like Butler or George certainly would bolster the Celtics' roster, but as Wojnarowski notes, it would come at a big cost. But they are still very much underdogs to the defending champion Cleveland Cavaliers.
