Tip-in by Ryan lifts Senators over Bruins 4-3 in overtime

Bobby Ryan scored on a tip-in on a power play 5:43 into overtime, and the Ottawa recovered after giving up a three-goal lead to beat Boston 4-3 on Monday night and take a 2-1 edge in the first-round series. Two goals by Mike Hoffman and Derick Brassard's second of the playoffs on Tuukka Rask had given the Senators a 3-0 lead. Craig Anderson finished with 17 saves.

Miller suffered a lower-body injury in Game 1 and missed Games 2 and 3.

The Ottawa Senators took a 3 goal lead in the opening minutes of the second period.and held onto it and lived happily ever after.

The thinking was that with hard-hitting Noel Acciari entering the series in Game 3 and the B's holding last change at home in Boston, things would get a lot more challenging for Karlsson.

It is said that Google's approach would focus on unacceptable ad types that violate the recently-released list of ad standards. The Journal reported that the feature could block all ads on any sites that contain offending ads.

Game 4 is Wednesday night in Boston.

"I always say that you make your money during the season, but you make your reputation in the playoffs, and right now he's showing everybody that he's a gamer", Boucher said.

Ottawa went on the penalty kill and David Pastrnak took advantage of the man advantage as he tied the game with help from Charlie McAvoy for Boston, raising his hand to his ear to bring the Garden crowd to their feet in a sea of cheers. Braden Holtby stopped 24 shots.

The Bruins have trailed in all three games.

US free trade deal with South Korea falling short, Pence warns
He said that under President Donald Trump , the US will stand up to its enemies with its allies. He also said, "We are with you 100 percent", adding that the USA always seeks peace.

Karlsson was the star of the night, passing 30 minutes for the second straight game, and having two remarkable assists and taking care of business in his own end.

The Maple Leafs were hosting their first playoff game in nearly four years and coming off an exciting double-overtime victory in Game 2.

David Backes chose to get in on the fun a minute later when he scored and sent the Garden crowd into a frenzy with them being down just by a goal. "It (Wednesday's game) is going to probably be the most intense game of the series so far". He stopped the initial shot, but Matthews hung with it and batted the rebound out of the air to cut the deficit to 2-1.

Monday's game ended amid the controversy regarding the penalty call that led to the winning goal - Ryan's second goal in three games in the series and his third in the last four going back to the regular-season finale, after a 13-game goal drought.

The Bruins went the final 9:47 of the first period without a shot and had one in the final 16:18. There's my sour grapes view that such a call in a tie game in overtime is a bad one, especially since both Nash and Bobby Ryan, the player he was tangled up with, were guilty of cheap shots and hits on each other, and handing a man advantage over to one team when such things are what end up deciding games like this isn't fair, because roughing calls are nearly always subjective.
