One person was pronounced dead and 3 were severely injured in an accident that took place near Kashmere Gate in Delhi, early this morning. While the other two occupants of the vehicle fled the accident scene, the driver was stuck in the auto.

The auto, police said, lost control which was coming from Ring Road, adding that the vehicle climbed on the footpath near the ISBT Hanuman Mandir and mowed down several people sleeping there.
