Brian Williams calls images of US missile launch 'beautiful'”

Yesterday (April 6) saw President Trump order a missile strike in response to Assad's chemical attack on innocent civilians, which included children. Everyone's losing their shit about the potential of a war in Syria, and frankly, there's not much to celebrate.

USA news anchor Brian Williams has been criticised after quoting Leonard Cohen lyrics when reporting on the United States' missile strike in Syria.

MSNBC interrupted "The Rachel Maddow Show" Thursday evening and cut to talk show host Brian Williams for coverage of the U.S.'s strikes on a Syrian airbase.

USADA Watch: Who's the Most Tested Fighter on UFC 210?
He's saying okay now you've finally come out, you should be hiding from people. He said that to go fight Owens would be cool and that he likes him.

MSNBC fans were further perplexed and enraged when at one point during his coverage of the US strike, he used the term "beautiful" to describe the strikes.

The comments were made while video provided by the Pentagon of Tomahawk missiles launched by USA warships towards the Syrian air base was being shown. He went on to call the images "beautiful pictures of fearsome armaments". What did they hit?

Cohen, who died in November at age 82, told the Washington Post in a 1988 interview, the song was "a response to terrorism". There's something about terrorism that I've always admired. "I don't like it when it's manifested on the physical plane - I don't really enjoy the terrorist activities - but Psychic Terrorism", he said.

The Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority estimated the yanked event would have generated about $ 100 million in economic impact. Roy Cooper recently passed, the league has followed the NCAA in saying it's willing to return future events to the state.

Williams got dropped from NBC's Nightly News and now has a spot at MSNBC, not almost as high profile. I remember there was a great poem by Irving Layton that I once read, I'll give you a paraphrase of it.

Williams included in his pro-war gush an un-ironic quote from Leonard Cohen. 'But our terrorists, Jesus, Freud, Marx, Einstein.
