Wenger rocked as rampant Liverpool Reds punish Sanchez risk”

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger played down his leading scorer's actions, saying that it is "normal" because they did not win and the forward was merely "unhappy".

"Nothing happened, nothing at all", Wenger told reporters at Arsenal's London Colney base, after shaking Sanchez's hand in front of the cameras before training.

"I understand you have to feed the newspaper and we respect that", a calm Wenger said.

"I think when you've got your star man, your best player and you try and discipline him and you go to Liverpool in a massive game and you leave him out - if you leave him out and Arsenal win, you've got to go with that team. He is a committed player and sometimes with excessive behavior, but you have seen that many times in history in every squad". He was confronted by team-mates on their return to the changing room as tempers flared. From a tactical perspective, the decision certainly backfired but, with all that's been said, was Arsene Wenger right to drop the Chilean?

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola: Leaders Chelsea nearly unstoppable
Come April 1 hopefully we will have Victor Anichebe, Jan Kirchhoff and Lee Cattermole back to bolster the troops'. Not to underestimate them, but this is one we should win through sheer weight of forward quality.

The influential Chile worldwide was relegated to the bench for Saturday's (4 March) clash with Liverpool, only appearing as a half-time substitute and later setting up Danny Welbeck's goal during a predictable 3-1 defeat at Anfield that left the vulnerable Gunners fifth, two points adrift of the top four.

ALEXIS SANCHEZ has declared his love for Arsenal and his team-mates by posting an inspiring quote on Instagram, saying: "Let's go Gunners".

Reports had claimed that Wenger's patience with Sanchez had finally snapped last week. What seems to have resulted is that Liverpool, in contrast to Arsenal, generally do well against the other top sides, but slip up more than they should against, in theory, less challenging opposition.

Ozil, whose Arsenal deal runs out at the end of next season, has reportedly been locked in protracted negotiations with the club but talks over a new contract have stalled.

Dr. Fate Added To The Injustice 2 Character Roster
He's even got a bit of a trap spell that stops in the middle of the battlefield to let him control distance with the opponent. It's still unclear which incarnation of Doctor Fate will be seen in Injustice 2 , but it could very well be Kent Nelson.

Just 10 days after Claudio Ranieri's shock sacking, Leicester have been transformed from an abject rabble in severe danger of relegation into a cohesive, focused group that closely resembles the side who won the Premier League last season.

"We played really good, created wonderful chances and scored only two times, and could have scored more in the first half". "Football is down to more than just one player".

The Frenchman also insisted that the player was left out, because he wanted to play "direct" at Anfield.

Sadio Mane made it 2-0 to the home team on 40 minutes, and although Danny Welbeck halved the deficit in the 57th minute, Georginio Wijnaldum secured the three points for the Reds with his goal in the first minute of injury time.

Philadelphia Flyers Acquire Valtteri Filppula
At times, Filppula, a 6-foot, 196-pound Finn, centered Jonathan Drouin and Ryan Callahan this season. The Vantaa, Finland native has scored 145 goals and added 243 assists for 388 points.

Sports Breakfast host Alan Brazil suggested the proportion of supporters who want the French boss to leave the club could now be as many as 60/40, but Merson believes the odds are far greater after this latest Sanchez controversy.
