Ghost in the Shell is attractive, but nearly soulless

It begins with the "birth" of The Major, a human (Scarlett Johansson) plucked from the wreckage of a crash and souped up as a cyber-enhanced soldier, dedicated to serve as a soldier fighting risky criminals. As terrorism peeks to somewhat Orwellian standards where people's minds are invaded and then controlled, Major Mira fights to stop it, only to realize she's been a victim the whole time.

Ghost In The Shell is available in United Kingdom cinemas and IMAX now.

British PM May fires starting gun on Brexit

'GST Bill in Lok Sabha abrogates Parliament sovereignty on taxation'
Above this, there will be additional cess and levies to be imposed on sin goods (such as tobacco products) and luxury items. Tabling the bill , Jaitley said that there has been an attempt to introduce a one taxation system for years.

"Purists may not want to hear it, but she's ideal at the conceptual side of the role". It's hard to get engaged by Johansson's portrayal, since she plays the character devoid of emotion throughout the entire film. "The unusual disconnect between Johansson's intelligence and her coolly dispassionate looks has been exploited before, most brilliantly in Jonathan Glazer's 'Under the Skin'". The film's source material began as a manga which has gone on to spawn anime films, TV shows, video games - you name it.

As for the racial controversy surrounding her casting - particularly the charges of "whitewashing" - the film addresses this directly in a way that could be seen as problematic, but can also be read as a comment on the way corporate culture's default vision of a post-racial world tends to skew white.

Terming the issue as a very important one, the bench had asked both governments should sit together and take a stand on it. The apex court also asked Union of India to file a reply in this regard within April 10.
