Florida McDonald's worker hops through drive-thru window to rescue unconscious officer”

Pedro Viloria, the employee, noticed something odd when the off-duty officer and her two children pulled up to receive their order, reports ABC News. No one was hurt during the incident which took place on Tuesday. Apparently the woman's foot was off the brake. After placing her order at the first drive-thru window, the woman drove her auto to the second one to pick up her order.

"Her kids were screaming, 'Mother, mother, stop it, mother what are you doing?'" Viloria recalled.

The vehicle began moving forward and that's when Viloria sprung into action.

"I thought, 'Oh my god, this woman's unconscious!" An off-duty Miami-Dade Fire Rescue officer was inside the McDonald's and ran to assist the officer.

Surveillance video of Pedro Viloria jumping through the open service window has gone viral as he and another McDonald's worker are being credited with helping to save the life of a female officer as she experienced an unspecified medical emergency while her two children watched helplessly from inside her vehicle. Luckily, the SUV narrowly missed another auto before hitting a curb and coming to a halt.

Viloria said he was never concerned about his own safety.

"First and foremost, our thoughts and prayers are with the officer and her family during this hard time".

What he didn't know at the time was who he was helping.

He raced into action and jumped through the drive-thru window to come to the aide of the officer.

A second McDonald's employee, along with paramedics who were in the restaurant, helped to revive the woman at the scene.
