India sets world record putting 104 satellites in space

Praises have been showering in for India since it has successfully launched 104 satellites on February 15, reacting on the Indian Space Reserach Organistaion (ISRO) achievement, China though acknowledge it, said India is still way behind them.

ISRO has confirmed that all the 104 satellites were sucessfully seperated from the launch vehicle and are being placed into their respective orbits.

The Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle PSLV-C37 blasted off at 9:28am from the first launch pad at the Satish Dhawan Space Centre. "The successful launch is yet another feather in the cap of India's ambitious space programme that has earned a reputation of offering a reliable low cost alternative to existing global players", it said. Of the 101 worldwide co-passenger nano-satellites, 96 are from the U.S., and one each from Israel, Kazakhstan, the Netherlands, Switzerland and the United Arab Emirates.

United Kingdom inflation is creeping ever closer to the Bank of England's (BoE) 2 per cent target reaching a 30-month high of 1.8 per cent in January.

The PSLV-C37/Cartosat2 Series satellite mission included the primary satellite (Cartosat-2) and 101 worldwide nano satellites.

What is significant about the launch is the number of satellites carried by a rocket. During 1992-94, the United States had threatened sanctions against Russian supply of cryogenic engines for Indian Space Research Organisation's Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle (GSLV).

Bettering Russian space agencys feat of launching 37 satellites in a single mission in 2014, Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) injected the Cartosat-2 Series satellite and 103 nano satellites into precise orbit after a textbook lift-off from this spaceport, about 100 km from Chennai.

Uday Bhaskar, the chief of the Society for Policy Studies, an open approach inquires about gathering situated in New Delhi. "It offers food for thought for other countries". Pointing out that India had the largest number of poor people in the world the paper also cited that the country did not have rockets powerful enough for space explorations.

"We want to enable the Indian space ecosystem".

"As India's GDP is about one-fifth to one-fourth that of China's, the share of investment in space technology in India's GDP is similar to that of China's". The US space agency, NASA has launched 29. It has not yet formed a complete system. Watching each of these little guys with their own individual purposes flood the sky and kick the country's space program into overdrive is just as neat as it sounds.
