Reince Priebus Challenges Chuck Todd: 'What's Your Source'?

Sean Spicer told CNN's Michael Smerconish Saturday morning that the reports claiming the Russian government hacked the Republican National Committee during the 2016 election are false.

"Forget about who did the hacking", he added. "We contacted the Federal Bureau of Investigation months ago, when the DNC issue came about". We want to protect American interests.

In a heated exchange with NBC News' "Meet The Press" moderator Chuck Todd, Reince Priebus, now Trump's chief of staff, lashed out at a New York Times report that the RNC was hacked - declaring it was simply not true. "You would have to believe that the uniform nature of the hacking and the dumping of information that was damaging to Secretary Clinton and helpful to Donald Trump was both coincidental and accidental, and the Russians didn't know what they were doing, to believe that they had no interest in helping one candidate", he said on NBC News. "It wasn't hacked. We have intelligence agencies that we worked with that are willing to sort this out".

The article didn't say, "Affiliates of the R.N.C". "I mean, the fact of the matter is, you should be happy the RNC wasn't hacked", adding that he doesn't know of "any employee on any of their Gmail accounts that was hacked".

Oil min. to attend OPEC, non-OPEC meeting
USA benchmark West Texas Intermediate crude oil prices edged up 29 cents, or 0.58 percent to $50.06 a barrel. Crude prices boomed by nearly 9% to $49.20 per barrel as investors cheered the long-awaited deal.

"Why would the press run with something that isn't true?"

"But my question's not about the RNC", Todd said. "Reince, no, no, no. Do you not believe anything that Russian Federation was attempting to infiltrate the USA election system in any way, shape or form?" However, while files from the DNC appeared online, often painting the Clinton campaign in a bad light, few Republican documents appeared - and those that did came from individual Republicans, not the national committee. So you tell me where this story is at.

"What you are saying is, until the Central Intelligence Agency comes out and produces somebody on the record, you are going to dispute this the entire time?" "I don't know whether it's true or not..."

"It's clear the Russians interfered", McCain said.

Federal judge orders election recount in MI to begin on Monday
She also scheduled a rally and news conference today outside Trump Tower in NY . " Michigan courts should decide MI election law". Even if all three recounts happen, none were expected to give Clinton enough votes to emerge as the victor .

The president-elect's transition team responded to Friday's reports by attacking the Central Intelligence Agency as "the same people that said Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction".

Priebus also objected to the notion that a foreign agent's intrusion into US entities had influenced the presidential election, telling NBC's Chuck Todd that "you don't have any proof that the outcome of the election was changed".

"What I'm asking you Chuck, tell me what the specific source that you have, other than the NY times article". Some intelligence officials, as well as Clinton campaign operatives, have suggested that the hackers were originally trying to disrupt the election and confidence in the USA democratic process, rather than get any individual elected.

U.S. intelligence officials are also divided on the link between the Kremlin and the hackers. "Then we can make intelligence decisions".

Adrian Peterson eyeing return if Minnesota Vikings can stay in playoff hunt
Of course, playing into their thirties hasn't been kind to most running backs, but Peterson isn't most running backs. Peterson rushed 31 times for a mere 50 yards in two games before he went down September 18.

Later, Todd asked: "Let's just clear this up, do you believe that the president-elect believed that Russian Federation was trying to muddy up and get involved in the election in 2016?"
